CANCELLATION/PAYMENT POLICY
FOR "ON THE RANCH" AND "OFF THE RANCH" EVENTS

Scheduling Policy: Any and all Events whether "on the ranch" or "off the ranch" must be approved by the scheduling department and a deposit of half the total amount must be paid when your invoice is received to hold the date of the event. The remaining balance must be paid 2 weeks prior to the event. If not paid in full prior, we cannot guarantee that date and/or time will be available. If event is scheduled with less than 2 weeks time, the TOTAL AMOUNT must be paid when the invoice is received.

Payment Policy: Once your event has been approved by the scheduling department, you will receive an invoice sent to your email for the total amount. A deposit of half the total amount must be received the same day your invoice is sent to hold the date and time for your event. The remaining balance must be received no later than 2 weeks prior to the event's date. If not received, we cannot guarantee that particular day and time will be available. Payments can be made right through the invoice.

Cancellation Policy: 48 hour notice is REQUIRED for cancellation of the event regardless of the reason. If canceling with less than 48 hours notice, there will be a $100 NON-REFUNDABLE fee deducted from the total invoice amount. 

There is a 3% processing fee for all refunds no matter what the reason is.

To cover the cost of credit card acceptance we pass on a 3% credit card surcharge except where its prohibited by law. This surcharge is not more than the cost of accepting these cards and there is no surcharge for debit cards.

NOTE: Bank Account payments can take up to 7 days to process AND clear.

CREDIT/DEBIT card payments can take up to 2 days to process.

We reserve the right to cancel events for the safety of riders, volunteers, horses and staff. If we cancel for unseen reasons like truck/trailer issues, extreme heat, etc. You will be refunded your invoice total minus the 3% processing fee.

LESSON CANCELLATION POLICY

Scheduling Lessons- Paying Monthly: In order to keep the day and time spot for your lesson each week, payment is REQUIRED in advance for the number of times the lesson falls in any given month. If you are unable to make one of those lessons, it is possible to reschedule for another day/time within that calendar month. If lesson is not used within the month, there will be NO REFUND.

Scheduling Lessons- Paying Per Lesson: If you choose to pay for each lesson as you take them, your lessons will run on a week-to-week basis, meaning you will not be guaranteed that particular day and time each week and you may not schedule lessons several weeks in advance.

Payment Policy: If you schedule monthly blocks of lessons, payment is due prior to the first scheduled lesson of the month. If you are not able to make that lesson for any reason, payment is still due and should be either paid through the invoice or paid at the ranch.

 

If you are paying per lesson, payment is due prior to the start of that lesson.

Cancellation Policy: 24 hour notice is required for cancellation of any lesson regardless of the reason. If canceling with more than 24 hour notice, the lesson can be rescheduled within the same calendar month. If canceling with less than 24 hour notice, the lesson with not be rescheduled or refunded, regardless of the reason. Students/Parents will be responsible for the lesson fee even if paying per lesson. Rescheduled lessons will not be carried forward into another month.

Late Arrivals: If you arrive late to your scheduled lesson, your lesson will end at the regularly scheduled time. Students who arrive more than 10 minutes late will be unable to ride as this is disruptive to the rest of the class. This lesson will NOT be rescheduled or refunded.

Weather Cancellations: Our lessons are held rain or shine. Lessons will be canceled in severe weather such as thunder and lightening, heavy rain/downpour, hail and sleet, snowing or unsafe footing in the arena. These lessons will be rescheduled. If your lesson must be canceled due to inclement weather, we will attempt to contact you either by text or call before the lesson at the number you have provided. Please make sure your contact person and cell number is UPDATED. If you do not hear from us, you should assume that your lesson is going to take place. Remember that weather conditions at the ranch may be different from weathe rin your area at any certain time.

Student Cancellations: If you need to cancel a lesson, you must call 410-456-2195, at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations received the day of the lesson cannot be accepted and will be considered a "no show" and you will be charged for your lesson. Please remember that even if you didn't show up for your lesson, your instructor still did and is being paid.
