City Ranch, Inc.

City Ranch, Inc. is a Maryland non-profit, community equestrian educational organization founded in 2007.

Through our partnership with local schools, we introduce children to character-building opportunities in horsemanship, and bring the joy of horseback riding to the urban environment. We challenge all of our students to succeed and put some fun in the communities while doing it!

We work to reintroduce horsemanship throughout Baltimore City and surrounding counties through a variety of educational programs. We offer horseback riding lessons, school programs and therapy riding, pony parties, and workshops in horsemanship and horse care.

A Night at the Races Fundraiser Gala postponed

Aligning with recommendations made by the CDC and the Maryland Department of Health regarding COVID-19, we have decided to postpone our charity soirée - “A Night at the Races" originally scheduled for April 4, 2020 at the Pimlico Race Course Jockey Club 5201 Park Heights Ave. Baltimore, MD 21215.

Please check back in for the new event date soon!

Hello friends of City Ranch,

We are eager to get everyone back in the saddle when it is safe to do so. Although we do not have a specific date set for when we will resume full services to the community, we have developed the following protocols to ensure a safe environment for all who visit City Ranch for essential business in the meantime. If you have any questions please contact us.

  • Liability Waivers must be filled out prior to arriving to City Ranch

  • Visitor Questionnaire must be filled out prior to arriving to City Ranch

  • All visitors are required to wear a face mask

  • Please call City Ranch at 410-456-2195 upon your arrival so we can meet you outside

  • Please follow physical distancing on City Ranch property

We cannot wait to see you soon! In the meantime, all donations made during this difficult time will go toward the veterinary and dietary care of our trusty, faithful herd of 21 horses. For your consideration, $45 pays for a farrier to trim one horse's hooves, and $60 pays for one bale of hay. Please click this link to donate through our secure PayPal platform.

Our hearts are with those near and far who have been affected, and we look forward to serving the Baltimore community in the near future.
